FNR - Innovative MDR-powered conveyor for shockless transfer of small and medium items, to be unveiled at Logimat and SITL

A highly innovative new conveyor module powered by motorised drive roller (MDR) technology, which will set new standards in performance when handling small to medium items, will be unveiled simultaneously at two major international logistics sector shows during March

Itoh Denki will showcase a prototype of FNR, on its stands at both SITL in Paris (stand J086) and LogiMAT in Stuttgart (stand 1K25) from 19 to 21 March.

Unlike other systems, FNR transfers loads via an innovative patented bed comprising plastic wheels.
This allows it to perform in any application where belt conveyors may be used, but with the advantages of optimised safety, near-silent operation, greater power efficiency and minimal configuration and maintenance.
And as a truly modular system it can be easily integrated into any virtually any design and layout, allowing future modification to suit evolving operational requirements.

The prototype on display at Logimat will see an FNR-based conveyor loop undertaking singulation processes, conveying and separating small individual packets of sweets.

Its versatility, the use of economical materials in its manufacture and its low power consumption mean that FNR offers a cost-effective, practical and flexible solution for a very broad spectrum of applications across logistics and e-commerce, with an enviably low total cost of ownership.
