M-RAT and FNR technologies to take centre stage at LogiMAT

Itoh Denki will be exhibiting at LogiMAT, the leading international trade show for intralogistics solutions and process management, joint us on stand 1K25, 19th to 21st March in Stuttgart.

On the show we will be showcasing major innovations which will bring new opportunities for efficiency and flexibility across a broad range of applications.

New 90° compact diverter for heavier loads

Among the new products on display will be the M-RAT, a highly innovative compact diverter for heavier loads, developed in response to burgeoning demands from customers globally for sorting and routing applications in intralogistics but most notably in manufacturing and assembly lines.

Drawing on the same acclaimed 24V DC powered technologies which form the heart of the company’s F-RAT compact 90° diverter for the precise and smooth transferring of loads, the M-RAT will be able to handle individual loads of up to 250kg.

This will provide greater flexibility for specifiers and designers needing to move heavier loads, who have previously had to rely on more complex pneumatically or high-powered systems which bring specific challenges around commissioning, maintenance and safety.

More efficiency and flexibility for handling small items

Also on show will be a prototype of the FNR, a new MDR-powered conveyor module which transfers loads via an innovative patented bed comprising plastic wheels.
Offering a ready alternative to traditional belt conveyors or BOR conveyors (belt on roller) when handling small items along flat or inclined conveyors. The FNR is a highly cost-efficient solution boasting precise load positioning, supreme safety, near-silent operation and very low maintenance.

A versatile solution for many applications, the prototype on display on our stand will demonstrate how the FNR can be used to efficiently perform product singulation, conveying and separating small individual items to facilitate identification or order preparation.

Tatsuya Akashi, President of Itoh Denki Europe, explained: “We have exhibited regularly at LogiMAT in recent years, and every year, it has proved highly valuable in reinforcing existing contacts and forging new partnerships.”

“We look forward to welcoming decision-makers and specifiers from across Europe and further afield to our stands.”
